  1. POLICY STATEMENT

leelaurelsGS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) in all our operations. We strive to deliver superior products/services while ensuring the well-being of our employees, contractors, clients, and the communities in which we operate.

This QHSE Policy complies with Nigerian regulatory requirements, (where applicable) including but not limited to:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
  • Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission Guidelines
  • National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA)
  • ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) 

And other regulations as may be necessary

  1. QHSE OBJECTIVES

To achieve our commitment, we shall:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable QHSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses by implementing robust safety measures.
  • Minimize environmental impact through sustainable practices, waste reduction, and pollution control.
  • Deliver consistent quality in products/services to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Promote a proactive QHSE culture through continuous training, awareness, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness through drills, response plans, and crisis management protocols.

 

  1. MANAGEMENT & EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES

Management shall:

  • Provide leadership and resources to implement QHSE policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Set measurable QHSE targets and review performance regularly.

Employees & Contractors shall:

  • Follow all QHSE procedures and report unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in training and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

 

  1. CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT

We are committed to continuous improvement in QHSE performance by:

  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.
  • Encouraging feedback from employees and stakeholders.

 

  1. POLICY REVIEW

This QHSE Policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to reflect changes in regulations, company operations, or industry standards.
